Xubuntu Install Fonts

Xubuntu Install Fonts

This is not immediately obvious, as there is no built-in GUI for managing fonts in Xubuntu 11.10.

1. Open Thunar in sudo

sudo thunar

2. Copy and paste your downloaded font(s) into the relevant folder, this example is using a truetype folder, but this could also be Opentype etc

/usr/share/fonts/truetype

3. Re-build the font cache

sudo fc-cache -f
